Greenville, OH. The March meeting entitled ‘Scholarship’ is the most important and exciting meeting of year for the Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club (BPW). The Scholarship Committee will host the dinner meeting on Thursday, March 12th. The committee consists of Co-Chairs Sue Huston and Alexia Sykes and members Tonya Keller, Terra Denniston, Kim Davis, Gina Wolfe and Samantha Porter. The meeting will be held at Birchwood Training Center, 5844 Jaysville St. Johns Rd., Greenville, OH at 6:30 PM.
Committee co-chair Sue Huston will introduce Darke County high school students vying for the scholarships that are available this year. The students have met certain criteria to qualify for the scholarships and will give a short presentation on their accomplishments and goals. The Club will be awarding eight (8) $1500 scholarships this year and one $500 Anna Britton scholarship. Several fundraisers are held throughout the year to obtain money to grant the scholarships.
The Club meets the second Thursday of every month for a dinner meeting. The Greenville BPW Club invites women interested in learning more about ‘Scholarships’ and hear the presentations from the young women of Darke County to the March 12th meeting. The Greenville BPW Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. The cost of dinner is $15.00.
