Two great presenters coming to GPL in February

GREENVILLE – In addition to all of our regular monthly offerings at Greenville Public Library, we’ll be hosting two dynamic presenters this month for our patron’s enjoyment.

On Tuesday, February 11, local author and former GPL employee Cait Clark will be stopping by to discuss her book, From the Treaty City to the Western Sea: Lewis and Clark in Greenville, Ohio. A descendant of the famed William Clark, Cait will be sharing the story of how this historic partnership began, right here in Darke County. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m.

One week later on Tuesday, February 18, Michelle Hickman will be facilitating the program, Sound & Art Journey: Intuitive Watercolor. During this presentation, attendees will experience the soothing sound of singing bowls and tuning forks, followed by an abstract watercolor painting session. Beginning at 11 a.m., this program has limited space available, so registration is required. Those interested can sign up by calling the library at (937) 548-3915.

Greenville Public Library is located at 520 Sycamore Street, one block behind the Darke County Courthouse. For more information, check out our website, greenville-publiclibrary.org, or call us at the number listed above.
