Douglas Lee Coby Sr. age 68 of Bradford passed away at 1:59 pm Friday, January 31, 2025, at his residence.
Douglas was born March 13, 1956, in Darke County to Janice (Oda) Coby and the late Bobby L. Coby. In addition to his father, Douglas was also preceded in death by his son, Douglas Lee Coby Jr.
In addition to his mother, Douglas is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Monica & William McLean; grandchildren, Jenna Coby, Michael Coby, Colton Coby and Kiersten Schricker; stepchildren, Stephanie Gross, Heather Curtis, Anna Price and Robert Curtis; siblings, Darrell & Judy Coby, Darren Coby, Roberta Coby and Farah Grewe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Douglas was an auto mechanic. He was a member of Fields of Grace Worship Center in Covington.
A celebration of Douglas’s life will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Don Solin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated.
