Our nurses Emily, Casey, Kim, and Janet are here to provide help for baby, mom, and family. Services include a baby health check, Mom’s health check, post-partum depression screening, community connections, and more.
The Darke County Health Department is proud to partner with Help Me Grow and Family Connects International to launch a new program to provide in-home nurse visits to families of newborns. Our knowledgeable and friendly nurses will provide health assessments, support, guidance, and connections to additional community resources – at no cost to you. Newborn home visits will be provided around three weeks of age.
This free, in-home nurse visit is provided to families in Darke County within the first few weeks of the newborn’s arrival, regardless of the family’s income.
