Rick Schilling age 72, of Greenville passed away at 11:30 pm Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Brookdale of Greenville.
Rick was born September 18, 1952, in Greenville to the late Edward Lee & Norma Jean (Garbig) Schilling.
Rick is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Nathan & Nikki Schilling; stepchildren, Aimee Smith and Emilie & Chuck Edwards; grandchildren, Liam Schilling, Leighton Schilling, Charlie Edwards, Claire Edwards, Dylan Smith and Ash Smith; sister & brother-in-law, Susan & Ronald Riegle; brothers & sister-in-law, Robert & Kay Schilling and Gregory Schilling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rick was a 1971 graduate of Greenville High School. Rick proudly served his Country by serving in the U.S. Army. Rick worked 30 years in the tire industry and retired from AAA Missouri with 10 years of service. After retirement, Rick worked security for the KC Chiefs Football. Rick was a member of the American Legion. He was a loyal KC Chiefs fan, rarely missed any home games while living in Kansas City. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and NASCAR racing.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Abbottsville Cemetery with Pastor Keith Mentor officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
