George I. Pierron, age 85, of Greenville passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.
George was born April 14, 1939, in Greenville to the late Leonard & Alice (York) Pierron. George is also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Swank) Pierron, whom he married November 3, 1961. Also, his Daughter, Linda Malott and Grandson, Ryan Kimmel.
George leaves behind a lasting legacy with his Children, Lori (Mark) Kimmel and Lisa Fry. As well as his Grandchildren, Aaron (Jennifer) Kimmel, Samantha Foster, Sarah Strong, Eric (Ashley) Fry, Curtis Hubbell, and Casey Malott. George also leaves behind several Great Grandchildren. George will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
George worked as a Banker at Citizens State Bank and Fifth Third Bank, until retirement, then he and Joyce decided to make the move to Minnesota. They spent many wonderful years there, fishing and really enjoying nature. George was an avid photographer, the scenery allowed him to truly follow his passion. He enjoyed the whole process and would even develop his own photographs. He also loved music of all types. He loved his old movies as well, James Dean being one of his favorite actors. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He also held a position on the first Cancer Association of Darke County Board and several community organizations.
