Karen E. Bingham, age 82, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2025, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
She was born on February 3, 1943, in Greenville, to the late George and Hannah (Addis) Laughman.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Andrea Clark; grandson-in-law, Eric DeBoer; her siblings, Ralph (Betty) Laughman and George Laughman; and her brother-in-law, Charles Linder.
Karen is survived by her children, Linda (Dane) Emrick Leeper of Ansonia, Barbara (Mike) Emrick Albright of Greenville, Larry (Kim) Bingham, Jr. of Greenville, and Michael “Shane” Bingham of New Madison; her grandchildren, Candice DeBoer, Chase Albright, Erin Albright, Hannah (Tyler) Potter, Olivia Leeper, and Dylan Bingham; her sister, Sharon Linder of Greenville; her sister-in-law, Annette Laughman of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Karen was a graduate of Gettysburg High School. She worked for Corning Glass in Greenville for 25 years until her retirement. Karen was a lifelong member of the Kingdom Hall in Greenville. In her free time, Karen enjoyed being outdoors caring for her garden and baking sweets and treats for her family.
Guests may visit with Karen’s family on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
A private family burial will take place in Gettysburg Cemetery.
