Carol Marlene Fritz

February 5, 1938 – March 7, 2025

Carol Marlene Fritz, age 87, went home to be with her savior, Jesus Christ, on March 7, 2025.

Born February 5, 1938, in Versailles, Ohio, to the late David and Clara (Schwierking) Fritz. She worked as a registered nurse for 52 years, then went back for 4 years. She loved to help and care for others. She worked many years for the Associated Specialist of International Medicine.

She loved her church, her family, her little dog, Ginger; she loved people. She helped people when needed and gave to others. She put others before herself. Her motto was to live each day to love, serve, and be Christ-like.

She attended school at North Star, Versailles High School, and Saint Elizabeths Hospital School of Nursing in Dayton, OH. She was a faithful member of the Ansonia First Church of God and attended the Snyder Rd. Church of God in Piqua, OH on Wednesday nights.

Survived by her sister, Rita Fritz of Greenville, Sisters-in-Law Judy Fritz of Greenville, Frances Fritz of Bradford, and Barbara Fritz of Greenville, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Alton Millet; Anna Belle and Gene Brewer. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Fay Fritz, Walter Fritz, Phyllis Fritz Koetten, John and Whilma Fritz, Lloyd and Avesta Fritz, Donald and Donna Fritz, Robert Fritz, Clifford Fritz, and David Fritz, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM. With a funeral service to be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10 AM located at Ansonia First Church of God. With a burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Pastor Tom Hulsman and Pastor Alan Leach. Memorial Contributions may be made to Right to Life in Carol’s memory.
