Gregg L. Gilbert, age 56 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 6:18 PM Friday September 17, 2021 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Columbus, Ohio. Gregg was born April 21, 1965 in Cambridge, Ohio and the son of Tonna K. (Brown) Gilbert of Greenville and the late Gary L. Gilbert.
He was the owner and operator of Gilbert Pest Control of Greenville. Gregg was a very active member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and V.F.W. all of Greenville. He was a board member of the Matt Light Foundation, an avid golfer, a Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and enjoyed boating on Grand Lake St. Marys.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Michelle Collins.
Survivors including his mother Tonna is his daughter Ella Gilbert of Greenville; sister Torey DeRoso of Plymouth, Michigan; 2 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great nephew, 3 great nieces and his dog Gizmo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday September 25, 2021 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Eric Laux officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
