Greenville, OH – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s (BPW) Club is proud to announce the 2025-2026 Women of the Year! BPW President Stacy Sykes announced Alexia Sykes as the winner at the April 9th meeting held at the Birchwood Training Center in Greenville.
Alexia Sykes has been a member since 2022. She has served on many committees, has been Assistant Treasurer and is getting ready to serve her second year as Secretary. When asked why she joined the Club, she joined for a few reasons. Members Vicki Cost and Gina Wolfe is the first reason. She worked with Vicki at TCMC who told her about BPW and invited her to check it out. Gina, also from TCMC, shared her experiences with BPW. The second reason being, she attended a few of the guest night events with her Mom and really enjoyed them. The events were always fun and brought in a lot of funds to support the young ladies of Darke County. Finally she and her mom joined at the event. Sykes said “BPW allows me to spend some extra quality time with Mom. We will be the chair of the October 2026 guest night event. It is always a joy to see this come together and to hear how much was raised for the scholarship fund”.
Alexia stated, “BPW has been a great asset in my life. I feel like this group has helped me grow professionally and personally. There is such a variety of knowledge in the Club that is so helpful. Everyone is so supportive of each other. I love that we have individuals that are all in various stages of life. This allows advice and support to be beneficial. BPW has helped me come out of my shell as well. I am usually quiet and reserved, but this club has helped me blossom! I look forward to seeing the future success of Greenville BPW and to working with all the amazing and inspiring women. Being named BPW Woman of the Year for 2026 is a big honor and surprise. I truly am grateful that my fellow club members felt I deserve this honor!”
