VERSAILLES, Ohio — Midmark Corp., a leader in designing seamless clinical care experiences that millions of medical, dental and veterinary visits depend on every day, is celebrating the induction of Jon Wells, president and CEO, Midmark, into the Medical Distribution Hall of Fame following an awards ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia.
Wells was honored at the event, attended by Midmark leaders, members of his family and distinguished guests from across healthcare distribution, including executives from leading distributors, manufacturers and industry organizations. His induction recognizes a career defined by trusted leadership, strong channel partnerships and a long-standing commitment to progress through innovation, collaboration and service.
“Jon’s induction into the Medical Distribution Hall of Fame is a tremendous honor and a fitting recognition of the impact he has made across Midmark and throughout the healthcare distribution industry,” said Dr. Anne Eiting Klamar, chair of the board, Midmark. “Jon leads with integrity, humility and a deep commitment to customers. He has helped strengthen Midmark’s relationships with customers and distribution partners while keeping our focus on improving the experience of care. All of Midmark is proud to celebrate this milestone with Jon and his family.”
Wells has been with Midmark for more than 35 years, joining the company in 1990, and became CEO in 2021 after serving as president and chief commercial officer. Throughout his career, he has led Midmark’s approach to solutions that connect space, technology and workflow, supporting clinicians and patients where care happens.
That perspective was formed early through hands-on work alongside customers and channel partners, reinforcing the importance of trust, follow-through and performing in the “last mile” in healthcare. Those experiences helped ground Wells’ belief that manufacturers and distributors perform best when they work together to solve meaningful challenges for frontline care teams.
“I’m incredibly humbled by this recognition,” Wells said. “I did not get here alone; I feel as though I was carried here by a remarkable company, an extraordinary industry, generous mentors, trusted friends and a family that gave me more than I ever had a right to ask.”
Under Wells’ leadership, Midmark has advanced a long-term strategy centered on harmonizing space, technology and clinical workflow, helping customers streamline day-to-day operations and strengthen support for both clinicians and patients. He has also championed transparency, responsiveness and alignment across the channel in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.
Wells’ induction also reflects Midmark’s long-standing commitment to leadership across the healthcare industry. Guided by Midmark’s vision, “To transform healthcare experiences through innovative design,”
