Ila Louise Drew, 86, of New Paris, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2026, at Brookdale of Greenville. Louise was born June 10, 1939, in New Paris, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jess and Ila (Pepper) Harrison.
Louise worked at Bonfiglio’s Pharmacy in New Madison; she then became a bank teller and drove school bus for Anthony Wayne School. She was a loving wife who enjoyed raising her kids and loving her grandchildren.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents her bonus dad, John R, Brandon; her husband Don T. Drew on March 14, 2022, whom she married January 25, 1958; and her brother: Jess Harrison.
Louise is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Donnie J. Drew and Jean Kirtley of New Paris, David Austin, and Kathleen Drew of Alabama; her grandchildren: Derek, Keisha, Jessica, Brandon, Olivia, and Austin; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday April 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday April 26 20, 2026 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Madison American Legion
