
The Ansonia FFA had a great State Convention experience this year with several of our members recognized on stage. Sophia Aultman took 2nd place in the Diversified Horticulture proficiency and won 1st place in the proficiency area of Nursery Operations. Sophia will represent Ohio at the National level this fall. Sophia also was recognized as Ohio’s Star American in Agribusiness where she will also represent Ohio at the National level.
Troy Stuck and Nick Barga were recognized on the state stage and received their banner for their first place finish in the Ag Power & Diagnostics competition.
All of our FFA officers who had the responsibility of keeping an officer book this year earned a Gold rating and were recognized on the state stage where they received their gold officer pin. Those individuals were Benjamin Barnt for secretary’s book, Wyatt Homan for the treasurer’s book, and William Aultman for the reporter’s book.
In addition to all these FFA members, the Ansonia FFA had 4 individuals earn their State Degree this year. Kensey Homan, Austin Singer, Troy Stuck, and Kaeden Waymire were all recognized on the state stage were they received their State Degree.
In addition to all the recognition, the officer team had a great time touring the new OSU Animal Science facility and sharpening their golf skills at Top Golf.
