Greenville, OH — The Greenville Public Library (GPL) invites the community to celebrate the start of its annual Summer Reading Program with a kickoff event on Wednesday, June 4 from 1:00–4:00 PM.
This year’s theme, “Unearth A Story,” encourages readers of all ages to dig into great books, discover new adventures, and explore the power of storytelling throughout the summer.
The kickoff event will feature a refreshing lemonade bar and cookies, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for families to gather and celebrate the start of the season. Children and Young Adult readers who sign up for the Summer Reading Program during the event will also be entered into a special prize drawing.
The Summer Reading Program is designed to inspire a love of reading while helping participants maintain and strengthen literacy skills during the summer months. With engaging activities, reading challenges, and exciting incentives, GPL aims to make reading both fun and rewarding for the entire community.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, sign up, and start their summer reading journey.
