
The City of Greenville is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Legal Assistant / Victim Witness Coordinator. This position will report to and support the work of the Law Director. As a part-time flexible position, candidates will be expected to work approximately (20) hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30pm. Scheduling of those 20 hours is flexible with the agreement of the Law Director.
General Description: Serves under the administrative direction of the Law Director to provide general administrative and legal support to the Law Director; performs general office tasks to ensure smooth office operations and accurate preparation of documents and various communications. Compiles evidentiary files for trial preparation. Coordinates court appearances and provides updates to victims and witnesses in criminal misdemeanor cases.
Qualifications: Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, proficiency in office software and legal terminology, excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism and discretion in handling highly confidential information. Ability to work independently.

Salary: $23.00 – 28.00 hourly depending on skills and experience.
