Janice Elaine (Fourman) Keller, 86, of Seminole, Fla., passed away Oct. 10, 2021.
She was born Aug. 6, 1935, in New Madison, Ohio, and moved to Seminole in September of 1971, from Dayton, Ohio.
Jan was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert Allen Keller; her parents, Kenneth W. and Thelma E. Fourman; and her children, Beth Ann Lowe and Donald Jay Keller.
Jan attended Miami-Jacobs Business College in Dayton. She worked as an administrative assistant in various companies while most recently serving as a customer service representative for Regions Bank in Seminole. Jan was a Methodist and belonged to Oakhurst Methodist Church in Seminole.
Jan and Bob were members of the American Boating Club and owned seven different boats. She and Bob taught over 300 students in safe boating classes and traveled all over the USA as well as many overseas charters. Jan worked with the Power Squadron and American Boating Club in Dayton and St. Petersburg, Fla. and was known as “Buckeye Gal.” Jan was active with the Girl Scouts and enjoyed sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her sister Karol Gilfillan and her husband, Larry, and many nieces and nephews that are scattered throughout the United States.
A graveside service will be held at Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, Ohio, on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM .
