August 7th is the date for this year’s annual “Toss for Teens” Cornhole tournament fundraiser during the YFC Summerfest and First Friday’s Artisan Stroll. If you’re looking for something to do on Friday evening, August 7th, mark your calendar now. Join the community for an enjoyable evening of carnival games, concessions and cornhole! All of this fun will take place just feet from the fountain off Broadway behind the Youth for Christ building at 107 West Main Street starting at 6:00 p.m.
If you would like to help raise funds for the mission of Youth for Christ, you’re invited to sponsor a cornhole team or register your own team for the tournament. Registration is $100 per player and each player may seek individual sponsorship to cover their registration or pay the $100 outright. Raising even more funds will reap more rewards!

Choose from 20 cornhole teams to sponsor. If you don’t know the individuals playing, just choose a number between 1-20 and then find out if the team you sponsored wins a grand fundraising prize or wins the tournament! Better yet, come cheer them on the night of August 7th! The top 3 individuals who raise the most funds will have their choice of prizes like dinner and a boat cruise on Lake St. Mary’s, up to four free Darke County Fair passes, or a $100 Top Golf Gift card, just to name a few.
August will be here before we know it, so make sure to register your cornhole team early so you don’t miss out on all the fun! The winners of the tournament will also receive a trophy, “Boss of the Toss” hats, and a backyard game of their choice.
While the YFC Summerfest and Cornhole Tournament will make for a fun evening, the ultimate goal is to support the mission of helping young people in our communities.
The overall fundraising goal for the “Toss for Teens” Cornhole Tournament is $20,000. These funds will help continue Youth for Christ’s impactful work of assisting young people in navigating life and faith decisions.
