This handsome boy is Benny, a sweet and shy 1-year-old intact male Husky mix who came to us as a stray. Because of that, we don’t know much about his past, but we’re excited to help him find a bright future. Benny can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his playful personality begins to shine. He has already shown us that he knows how to sit and lay down, and he absolutely loves chasing after a ball—although he’s still figuring out what to do once he catches up to it! One thing Benny is certain about is his love for treats. A tasty snack is a great way to earn his trust and make a new friend. Benny doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and is currently learning how to walk on a leash. With a little patience, love, and continued training, Benny is sure to grow into a wonderful companion and loyal best friend.
