
As our country is celebrating our Semiquincentennial, the Arcanum Public Library hopes you will enjoy the freedoms we have to learn, read, and gather with the privilege of having a community library to do so at.
During the month of July, they are excited to continue the second half of our 2026 Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story.
Although the Library will be closed July 4th to celebrate the Semiquincentennial Independence Day, they hope you will call the front desk (937-692-8484) to register for at some of the upcoming programs:
-Unearth Jewelry: An Adult Craft on July 8th from 5:00-6:30PM
-Gardening: Dig-In Programs on July 9th and 23rd at 10:00AM
-3-D Printing Workshop by High Street Market on July 15th at 5:30PM
-Bead Dinosaur Keychain Craft on July 16th at 1:00PM
-Cracking Geodes on July 21st at 11:00AM
– OSU Extension: Teen 3 Week Series starting July 27th at 12:30PM
-Touch a Truck on July 27th from 6:00-7:00PM
-Modern Day Raptors with the Darke County Parks Department on July 28th at 10:30AM
-Dino Eye Magnet Craft on July 28th 12:30-1:30PM
-Summer Reading Program Storytimes will be on Mondays, July 13th, 20th and 27th at 10:30AM
Be sure to save the date of Saturday, August 1st from 10:00am-12:00pm to celebrate the End of Summer Reading Program with there! This will be a great time of face painting, snacks, water balloon games, putt putt games, and prize drawings! All reading logs must be turned in by August 1st.
