Thomas G. Brown age 75, of Greenville passed away at 12:08 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville, Ohio.
Thomas was born June 21, 1951, in Greenville to the late Gene P. & Johanna L. (Magoto) Brown. In addition to his parents, Thomas was also preceded in death by a brother in infancy, Steven Brown; sister, Beverly Brown; nephew, Jason Landis; and brother-in-law, Robert Sollmann.
Thomas is survived by his siblings Jeanne Sollmann and fiancé John Knapke of Pleasant Hill, Carol Brown of Versailles, Lynn & Denis Gerling of Versailles, Keith & Connie Brown of Versailles, Michelle & Kevin Oliver of Versailles and Ryan Brown of Versailles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas attended Anthony Wayne School and later worked at Wayne Industries; he enjoyed singing, dancing, watching scary movies (Chucky), playing with his Etch a Sketch, watching big time wrestling and loved Hulk Hogan; he also enjoyed swimming, playing softball, and drying dishes; and he loved oatmeal creme pies and Pepsi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Ned Brown celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
