On July 29th, 2026, Greenville Police Officers conducted a traffic stop near Ohio Street. During the traffic stop, Nicholas Daniels, 39, of Greenville, was confirmed to be a passenger in the vehicle. K-9 Kilo from our agency was deployed to perform an open-air sniff on the vehicle which resulted in a confirmed presence of narcotic odor. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle where approximately 23 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located. Daniels was arrested and transported to the Darke County Jail and incarcerated for possession of a controlled substance, a felony of the second degree.
The Greenville Police Department strives to work cases proactively in attempts to make our community safer. These steps start with Officers on the streets, and we are appreciative of their efforts daily. The men and women of the Greenville Police Department also appreciate your continued support in helping keep our community safe!
