LuAnn Denise Shafer, 65, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born on July 28, 1956, in Greenville to the late Dorothy (Biddle) Allen.
In addition to her mother, LuAnn was preceded in death by her sister, Susie Curtis.
LuAnn owned and operated Bullring RC Center in Greenville. She loved being at the track and spending time with her RC family. She had a passion for animals and a deep love for her cats. They were truly an extension of her family. LuAnn was always on the look out for the next great bargain. She enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets.
LuAnn is survived by her husband, Rich Shafer, whom she married on February 22, 1997; her children, Lisa Schreiner-Durnye of Greenville, and Jay (Jennifer) Schreiner of Wasilla, Alaska; her grandchildren, Skyler (Kaylee) Durnye, Pryce Durnye, MaKenna Watkins, Ashley (William) Cordova, and Andrew Elder; and one great grandchild, Ozzy Elder.
Per LuAnn’s wishes, there will be no services.
