Melissa C. Stoltz, 56 of Ithaca, Ohio, passed away on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 5:47 PM at her residence. Melissa was born December 17, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Jean Colleen (Parker) Smith.
Melissa worked as a clerk at Ames Department Store and at Big Lots. She loved scrapbooking and attended Greenville Missionary Church.
Melissa is preceded in death by her parents; her brother and sister in law: Ronnie and Linda Smith.
Melissa is survived by her husband John Stoltz of 29 years whom she married October 10, 1992; her brothers and sisters in law: Roger and Mary Smith, Dale and Diane Smith, and Terry and Debbie Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday February 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Burial will follow in Ithaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday February 6, 2022 and 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset the funeral expenses.
