Brian Walter Ketring, 58, of Fairborn, Ohio, formerly of New Madison, Ohio, passed away after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy, on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at his home.
He was born on June 5th, 1963, in Greenville, Ohio, to Walter and Sheila (Butts) Ketring.
Brian was a 1981 graduate of Tri-Village High School and attended Ohio University. Music was one of his passions. Whether it was playing the guitar, piano, or trombone, or simply listening to his favorite bands, Boston and Pink Floyd, it was something he enjoyed daily. At one time, he and a few of his friends had a band and played together during the 1980’s. Aside from being a very gifted musician, Brian was a highly devoted and loving father to his children, and a beloved son and brother.
Brian was preceded in death by his younger brother Devin K. Ketring.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his daughter, Sarah Ketring; his sons; John Ketring, Jeffery Ketring, and Matt (Nikki) McVey; his brother, Matt (Bev) Ketring; his sister-in-law: Kirsten Ketring; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison with Rev. Eric Fee officiating.
