Lucy Marcelle Sutton 89 of Union City, IN passed away at Reid Health on September 11, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1936, to the late Glen Mote and Lucy Annabelle (Stump) Mote. She married Robert Dale Sutton on June 11, 1954.
Marcelle graduated from Jackson School class of 1954 and worked as a legal secretary for many years at Hinshaw-English-Prinkey law office. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her husband Robert Dale Sutton of Union City, IN, children; Steve (Paula) Sutton of Monticello, KY, Ronald Sutton of Orange City, Florida, grandchildren; Lacey J. (Luke) Coomer of Somerset, KY, Mandi Sutton of Deland, FL, Blaine (Morghan) Sutton of Somerset, KY, Jessica Sutton of Orange City, Florida, siblings; Jeanette Ulsh of Covington, OH, Roberta Jean Young of Union City, IN, Sharon Wall of Portland, IN, Duane Mote of Versailles, OH, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Delorse Mote.
Graveside Services will take place at 2:00pm on Friday September 26, 2025, in Union City Cemetery with Rev. Tom Sells officiating.
