Linda K. Alvey

Linda K. Alvey, 77, of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of Madison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Village Green Health Campus in Greenville.

She was born on September 27, 1944, in Greenville, to the late David and Margaret (Coppock) Hale.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William “Bill” Alvey; her son, Tim Menger; her grandson, Dylan Stith; and her brother and sister-in-law, JayAllen and Sondra Hale.

Linda was a graduate of New Madison High School. She spent her life raising her family and helping her husband as a pastor’s wife throughout many churches in Lake county. In her free time, Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and spoiling her beloved cats. Linda was also a member of the Fort Black Eastern Star Chapter 336 in New Madison.

Linda is survived by her son, Jamie (Shelly) Menger of Greenville; her daughter-in-law, Marie Miller of Greenville; her grandchildren, Ashley Haidle of Lima, Ohio, Joshua (Heather) Stith of Greenville, Breann (Steven) Mittermann of St. Henry, Ohio, Ashlyn Menger of Rossburg, Ohio, Jakob Menger of Greenville, and Erik Menger of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Damian, Emma, Kylee, Aaliyah, Paisley, and Dylan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

At this time, there are no services planned.
