Marcia L Rhoades, age 94, passed away on May 11, 2022 in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on January 15, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to Winifred W and Jeannette Karns. She was a recent resident of Siesta Key, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Rhoades and brother Bill Karns. She is survived by her son Mark Rhoades and his wife Joyce, granddaughter Jodi Ward-Harrison and four great grandchildren, and grandson Steven Rhoades and girlfriend Stephanie Kominarek, by her daughter Paula Rhoades Waterman and husband Cleveland and grandson Jack Waterman, and by various nieces and nephews.
Marcia was a homemaker known for throwing beautiful parties and her gardening. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and going out to lunch. She made friends with people from across the world whom she met smiling on her front porch.
Immediate family will gather in Versailles in June to remember her. Arrangements are being made by Bailey Zechar Funeral Home.
