Diane Georgene Weeks, 82 of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 11:13 AM at Ayden Healthcare of Greenville. Diane was born February 27, 1940 in Framingham, MA, the daughter of the late George P. and Madeleine J. (Hamblin) Knight.
Diane worked as a secretary for various employers retiring in 201, she was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron 5 times, former page once and former Grand Representative of Puerto Rico in Ohio in 2006; she loved sewing, embroidering and doing crafts.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William S. Weeks on November 3, 2001, her sons Kurt E. Weeks, and William G. Weeks; her step daughter Peggy L. Byford; her granddaughter: Kaitlin Weeks; and her brother: Warren S. Knight.
Diane is survived by her sons: Kevin D. Weeks of New Mexico, and Robert S. Weeks of Greenville; her stepchildren: Michael S. Weeks of Ansonia, Patrick Lee and Joy Weeks of Conrad, Iowa, and Mary and Robert Anspach of Lebanon, PA; her daughter in law: Trang Weeks of Louisville, Kentucky; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be held at 6:45 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
