Steam Thresher’s Reunion
June 30- July 3, J&M Ranch, Ansonia
Make this Ohio agricultural tradition a part of your summer bucket list. Activities include threshing, log sawing, plowing, antique tractor pull, steam engines, tractors, gas engines, flea market, food vendors and spark show every evening. Darke County is one of the largest agricultural counties in Ohio, and this event evokes the history and heritage of our farming and agricultural past.
Firecracker Friday Flyer
First Friday: Firecracker Friday, July 1, 6-9 PM, Downtown Greenville
Join us in downtown Greenville as we kick off the July 4th weekend with Park National Bank’s Firecracker Friday! Main Street Greenville’s First Friday event features a Downtown Cruise (as well as a Cruise In)! Show off your ride up and down South Broadway or park and hang out.
Visit the Welcome Center at 421 S. Broadway for free soft serve ice cream while supplies last. Sidewalk chalk will also be available for kids!
Jeremy Camp & Peter Mercer Band

A great night of music with Jeremy Thomas Camp and The Peter Mercer Band. Camp, an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter from Lafayette, Indiana, has one Grammy nomination and three American Music Award nominations among his career highlights. Pete Mercer Band, comprised of family and friends, have played music together for more than 20 years.
New Madison 4th of July Celebration

The New Madison 4th of July Committee is proud to announce the full, two-day celebration is returning for 2022! The celebration will take place on Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2, with the fireworks rounding out the event on the evening of July 2. Check out events from the Civic Center, plus food trucks, craft vendors, parade, car show, Little Miss and Mister pageant, fireworks and more.

The Arcanum Preservation Society hosts the third annual 4th of July Picnic and Children’s Parade from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.! Come out to enjoy this free community event. Bring your picnic basket and join them in the park!
Downtown Greenville Farmers’ Market
Every Saturday, June 4- October 8, 9 am-1 pm, Downtown Greenville
The Downtown Greenville Farmers’ Market has been a Darke County staple since 1998. This year promises to be another great year for fresh produce, baked goods, and crafts from local vendors, located in front of the Darke County Courthouse on the corner of 4th and Broadway.

An event that continues to shimmer and grow with each fun-filled year, BBQ & Blues returns with Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, food trucks, local restaurant vendors, wine offerings and micro brews from Moeller Brew Barn. Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and friends for a celebration of summer!

Historical Big 1 & 39th Kings Royal
July 13-16, Eldora Speedway, Rossburg
The winged sprint cars get to play in the dirt with the $100,000-to-win Historical Big 1 and the$175,000-to-win Kings Royal. The Historical Big 1 returns for the first time since 2003 when Daryn Pittman took the checkered flag. The 39th Kings Royal follows with Tyler Courtney returning as the defending champion. Eldora Speedway officials have posted more than $800,000 in purse monies and awards for the summer’s most-fabled event.

Multi-platinum-selling WAR, the original street band, has been sharing its timeless music and message of brotherhood and harmony for more than four decades before millions across the globe. More recently, LA Weekly declared WAR in the top 10 concerts of 2018. The Sedonas’ music revolves around a mixture of various Rock and Americana roots. The group has joined many different bills throughout the United States, including opening for Kansas, Blues Traveler, Diamond Rio, Living Colour, Tab Benoit, Blue Öyster Cult, Shenandoah, The Marshall Tucker Band, Rick Springfield and many others!
