Jeff Burkhart age 62 of Greenville Ohio passed away Tuesday July 05, 2022 at his residence. Jeff was born March 19, 1960 in Harlan County Kentucky. Jeff always referred himself as a briar not a hillbilly from Kentucky. He was always a big fan of wrestling, scratching off lottery tickets, listening to older music and cracking jokes and pranks.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Sterling and Anna (Wynn) Burkhart, a son Jeffery Burkhart, a brother Eric Burkhart, four sisters Valarie Napier, Trudy Goddard, Beverly Smith, and Joslin Kelly, and a dear friend and uncle Walter Wynn.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 44 years Ava (Taylor) Burkhart whom he married September 17, 1977. His children Jessica (Brian) Kolb, Jeremiah (Sara) Burkhart, and Kimberly Frantz of Greenville Ohio. Ten grandchildren Dylan (Brooke) Kolb, Brandon Kolb, Madison Kolb, Breanna Burkhart, Kadilynn Tinkham, Adalee Burkhart, Ramee Burkhart, Hailey Frantz, Haiden Frantz, and Holton Burkhart. One great granddaughter Oaklynn Kolb. One brother Marty Burkhart of Evarts Kentucky and one sister Ester Burkhart of Evarts Kentucky.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday July 12, 2022 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Dennis Martin and Rev. Willard Cole co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens Greenville, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday July 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
