GREENVILLE — Looking for something fun to do on Halloween? Join us at Greenville Public Library for our annual Murder in the Stacks event on Friday, October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.!
Murder in the Stacks is a live-action version of the board game, Clue. Participants will be tasked with solving the murder of the library director, Ms. Wilhelmina White, by searching for clues and interviewing our crazy cast of suspects. And this year, we’ll have two new suspects for you to meet!
Murder in the Stacks is suitable for families with children of all ages, though some kids under the age of 10 may need adult assistance. We’ll also have a fun scavenger hunt available for the little ones in your life.
Everyone solving the murder mystery will be entered in a drawing to win one of three semi-fabulous prizes and receive a small prize. All participants in the scavenger hunt will also receive an age-appropriate prize.
To keep things fair, the doors will open promptly at 6 p.m. There is no time limit, and we encourage anyone participating to hang around until 7:45 when we arrest the guilty suspect. And since our event takes place on Halloween, we encourage costumes this year!
Registration is not required for this event, but if you are bringing a group larger than eight, give us a call at (937) 548-3915. If you’d like more information or have questions, contact Amanda.
