Girls Varsity Golf finishes 7th place at Beavercreek Invitational

By Tracy Haines

The Lady Wave traveled to Beavercreek to play in teh Beavercreek Invitational.  The Wave were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 76; Sofia Chrisman had a 125 (a personal best for 18 holes); Vera Cox had a 126 and Callee Moore had a 145.  Also playing for the Wave were Taylor Trissell with a 158 and Leah Curtis with a 168.   Kenna finished in fourth place overall.

Kenna was the only player that had played the course before today.   Beavercreek is a tough golf course to walk and to play.  We will continue to work on our chipping and putting.   This was good experience for the girls to get ready for the  MVL and Sectional tournaments.
