There are so many pets in the Animal Shelters and all of them are looking for a forever couch. The Darke County Animal Shelter has currently dogs from a few months up to 7 years old, each one of them the perfect pet for someone out there.
All of them got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are microchipped.
The Shelter’s adoption fees are $90 cash/check. Their visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Blue is a 7-year-old intact male Terrier Mix. Blue knows how to sit, shake and lay down. Blue loves treats and people. Blue is a very friendly, sweet dog who loves attention. Blue doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Blue weighs in at 65 lbs.We believe Dolly is around 5 years old female Terrier Mix. Dolly can be a little shy when you first meet her but warms up to over time. Dolly is a very sweet girl and she love treats. Dolly doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter!We believe Dozer is a 3 1/2 months old intact male Boxer/ Terrier Mix. Dozer is very a very sweet boy who loves attention and treats. Dozer is a very playful puppy who will play with about anything. Dozer doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter.We have been told that Pogo is a 10-month-old intact male Heeler Mix. Pogo’s owner told us that he is good with kids, cats, dogs and crate trained. Pogo can be shy but is a very friendly boy. Pogo like to have his belly rubbed.Shippy came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Skippy is a 1-year-old intact male Terrier Mix. Skippy knows how to sit and loves treats. Skippy is a sweet dog who loves attention. Skippy doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter.Wrangler came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited and only know from what we have observed! We believe Wrangler to be around 1 year old and is an intact male Shepherd Mix. This charming doggy has showed us he knows how to sit and walks great on a leash. Wrangler seems to love everyone he has met so far! Wrangler loves treats and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter.
