The Darke County Animal Shelter has 4 new dogs waiting for their fur-ever homes.
All dogs were given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, are dewormed and are heartworm negative. All dogs are microchipped.
The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331. The visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. You can reach the Shelter at 937-547-1645.
Give a warm welcome to Bambam! Bambam came to us as a stray. While we don’t know much about his past, we have gotten to know him during his time here and he’s truly a sweetheart! We believe Bambam is a 8-year-old neutered male Terrier Mix. He’s affectionate boy. So far, Bambam has shown us that: he knows how to sit, loves to play tug-a-war and enjoys treats. He is currently learning to walk on a leash and does not seem to mind other dogs here at the shelter. Bambam is ready to leave his past behind and find a forever home where he can thrive and be loved. Bambam did great for his exam where he weighs in at 67 lbs.
Meet Champ, we believe he is a handsome 10-month-old male Shepherd Mix! This little guy is the total package full of charm, energy, and cuddles. Champ loves to eat, sleep, play, and of course, soak up all the belly rubs he can get. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. Whether it’s chasing toys or curling up for a nap, Champ knows how to enjoy life to the fullest. With his sweet personality and irresistible face, Champ is more than ready to find his forever home. Champ did great for nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 21 lbs.
Say Hello to Luke! We Believe Luke is a 5-year-old intact male Terrier mix who came to us as a stray, so while his past is a mystery, we have been getting to know his sweet personality here at the shelter. Luke had shown us he knows how to sit, laydown, enjoys treats and is always up for some quality time outdoors. He’s currently working on his leash-walking skills and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Luke did great for his exam where he weighs in at 37 lbs.
Introducing Spot! We believe Spot is a 1-year-old intact male Terrier mix who came to us as a stray. While we don’t know much about his past, we’ve loved getting to know this sweet pup here at the shelter. Spot is an affectionate boy who lives for your attention! He’s very food-motivated treats are his love language. Spot has shown us that he knows how to sit and loves to play ball. He’s working on his leash-walking skills and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs at the shelter. Spot is full of potential all he needs now is a loving home to help him learn and grow. Spot did great for his exam where he weighed in at 60 lbs.
