Roberta Edwards-Clevenger, 84, of Union City, IN passed away Sunday September 18, 2022, at the Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester. She was born in Eaton, IN, January 19, 1938, daughter of the late Kenneth and Lorraine (Shaw) Carter and Albert Orr who helped raise her.
Roberta graduated from Albany High School in 1956. She worked in banking most of her life and the cafeteria at North Side Elementary. Roberta also attended Harrisville Christian Church and in her better days she loved to watch sports on TV. She lived at American Heritage for the past 9 months and was helped by a great staff.
Left to cherish her memory are children Sondra (Greg) Huntwork, and Connie Edwards; grandchildren Derick Huntwork, Tiffany Tuente, Emily Edwards, Kenton Edwards, Jasson Huntwork and Michael Huntwork, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her 1st husband of 57 years Creighton Edwards, 2nd husband Monty Clevenger; a daughter Abby Ma, great granddaughter Joslynn Ma.
Visitation is from 2-3 PM Wednesday September 21, 2022, at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. Services will begin at 3 PM also at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Union City Cemetery.
