The Lady Wave hosted the Tri-Village Lady Patriots at Turtle Creek. It was Senior night for the Lady Wave. The Lady Wave were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 38; Lexi Slade had a 50; Vera Cox had a 55 and Sofia Chrisman also had a 57. Also playing for the Wave were Taylor Trissel with a 58; Leah Curtis with a 66 and Callee Moore with a 67.
The Lady Patriots were led by Alyssa Begoon with a 42; Sage Water had a 47 and Reagan Brewer and Taylor Begoon both had 48. Also playing for the Lady Patriots were Ashlyn Fleagle with a 61 and Macey Shetler with a 66.
Unfortunately, we did not get the win for Kenna and Lexi on their senior night. Kenna has played well all four years. Lexi has played all four years. She improved greatly this year after working on her game all summer. Kenna and Lexi have been good role models for the younger team members. They both will be missed next year.
We played well but Tri-Village is a very good team and they played better.
The Lady Wave finished the season 8-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play. The MVL conference match is on Thursday, September 29th.
