(Darke County, OH–) Leslie Acton and Tatiania Jay were recently appointed to the Board of Directors for Darke DD and took the oath of office at the board organizational meeting on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The Darke County Commissioners appointed Acton and Jay in December 2024. The Board of Directors is comprised of seven (7) community members who serve in a volunteer capacity to provide oversight and direction to agency leaders.
“We are excited to welcome Leslie and Tatiania to the Board,” said Tonya Clark, Superintendent of the Darke County Board of Developmental Disabilities. “Both bring valuable experiences to further strengthen the Board’s strategic direction and commitment to helping people live their best lives.”
Darke DD currently employs 25 staff and serves over 450 Darke County residents with developmental disabilities ranging in age from birth through over 80 years of age. The mission of Darke DD is to use our time and resources to help people with developmental disabilities live, work, and succeed in Darke County.
