Allan Paul Huff, 92, of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, went home to his Lord on Monday January 31, 2022, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
He was born on May 2, 1929, in Pennsylvania, to the late Lester and Marnie Huff. In addition to his parents, Allan was preceded in death by his wife, Joy D. Huff; his daughter, Deborah J. Toney; his sister, Joy Parkman; and his brother, Dick Huff.
Allan is survived by his son, Ed (Mary) Huff; his daughter, Vicky (Gary) Goodspeed; his son-in-law, Walt Toney; his stepdaughter, Kay(Larry) Smith; his stepson, Chris (Karen) Steele; his grandchildren, Anthony (Sheila) Toney, Michael Huff, Jacqueline (Tyler) Allen; and his great grandson Reece D. Allen. He is also survived by his step grandchildren, T.J. (Tara) Toney, Shad (Rachel) Toney. Michelle (Randy) Ruble, Michael Smith, Craig Steele, and Danielle Steele; and several step great grandchildren, Niece Claudia Parkman, Nephews Dan, Steve and David Huff, and several other step nieces and nephews.
Allan attended Oakcreek Church in Kettering, Ohio, before moving to Greenville. He loved reading his Bible every day. Had a passion for flying. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Alaska, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. He was a truck driver for Railway Express and Toney Tool.
A celebration of Allan’s life, with full military honors performed by the Greenville Honor Guard, will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday February 11, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. Allan’s family will be receiving guests on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
