The Anna Bier Gallery located within Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville will host its first holiday exhibit December 1, 2021 through January 31, 2022, and invites artists to submit work for the juried show; submissions may be made in the following categories: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, and Mixed Media. First and second place winners will be selected in each category, with $100 prizes going to those earning first place while runners-up will win $75. All submissions chosen by the juror will be displayed on the Anna Bier Gallery Facebook page; a community winner based on Facebook likes will also be declared for a prize of $50. Deadline for entries is November 14.
According to Anna Bier Gallery Director CeCelia Rice, entrants must be age 16 and over; artists may submit as many works as they wish. Although winter and holiday-themed pieces are encouraged, subject matter is not limited except for the exclusion of human nudity.
