April L. Fetters, 55, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Ohio State East Hospital – Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on July 5, 1966, in Coshocton, Ohio to Linda Primrose Barker of Greenville and the late Clyde Benjamin Barker.
In addition to her father, April was preceded in death by her sister, Rebekah Barker.
April had several passions in her life. She loved to read, bake and camp. She was an EMT for Gettysburg Fire and Rescue for 7 years. For the past 7 years, she and Darrell have been working side by side operating Dr. Vinyl. They loved spending time at their permanent campsite at Stillwater Beach in Bradford, Ohio. She enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with her family and friends, lovingly referred to as “the herd”. April loved her family and would go to the end of the earth for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Darrell Lee Fetters, whom she married on July 27, 2002; her children, Chelsea (Steven) Fields of Gettysburg, Ohio, Mick (Chelsea) Denlinger of New Lebanon, Ohio, Caleb (James Mikaelson) Fetters of Union City, Ohio, Marcus (Sana) Denlinger of Gettysburg, and Mason Fetters of Greenville; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Levi, Savannah, Hunter, Landen, Gavin, and Paisley.
A celebration of April’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Rev. Martina S. Krouskop officiating. Burial will follow at Mote Cemetery near Pitsburg, Ohio
Her family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
