Arlene Marie (Hupe) Greer, 84 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday October 25, 2021 at 6:26 PM at EverHeart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born June 9, 1937 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Francis (Poling) Hupe.
Arlene was a 1955 graduate of Greenville High School and worked as a Nursing Assistant at Wayne Hospital. She was a member of Greenville Missionary Church.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; and her son: Steve Greer.
Arlene is survived by her husband Richard Greer of Greenville whom she married October 8, 1955; her children and spouses: Chris and Joy Greer of Greenville, Rusty and LeAnn Greer of Greenville, Tammy and Sam Force of Greenville, and Terry and Ellen Greer of Paris, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her sister and brother in law: Sue and Dan Passon of Alabama.
Services will be held on Thursday October 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Greenville Missionary Church, 1110 North Broadway, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Missionary Church, or EverHeart Hospice.
