Arthur “Art” Allen Price, 72, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away on May 9, 2022, at his home.
He was born on November 24, 1949, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Anthony “Tony” and Claribell (Lambert) Price.
In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his previous wife, Alberta (Arnett) Price; his brother, Roy Price; his sister-in-law, Shirley Price; and his brother-in-law, Bill Thompson.
Art was a 1969 graduate of Ansonia High School. He worked for several manufacturing companies until he found his dream job at D&D Classic Automobile Restoration. Art was a proud veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Art appreciated the outdoors and oftentimes could be found outside riding his beloved motorcycles, tending to his garden and going fishing. He was the self-proclaimed “Hot Pepper King” and loved all things hot. Art loved his classic cars and working with horses. Art was a member of the Greenville VFW and the Piqua American Legion.
Art is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joy E. Turner-Price, whom he married on September 11, 1993; his children, Jennifer (Justin) Howard of Dayton, Ohio, and Brian Price of Piqua; his stepchild, Page Turner of Xenia, Ohio; his grandchildren, Rachel, Lincoln, and Wyatt; and his siblings, Marion Price of Rockford, Ohio, and Betty Thompson of Greenville.
The family will be receiving guest on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, 1000 N. Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
A celebration of life service will begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The family invites everyone to join them at 8:00 PM at the Greenville VFW for continued fellowship and remembrance.
