Barbara J. Moore age 98, of Eldorado passed away at 10:29 am Monday, October 24, 2022, at Brookdale Greenville.
Barbara was born August 5, 1924, in Southern Darke County to the late Orville & Vera (Eyer) Hoff. Barbara was also preceded in death by her 1st husband of 36 years, Curtis Miller; 2nd husband of 17 years, Roger Moore; sons, Jeffrey Miller and Neal Miller; daughter, Linda Cruze; and sisters, Joyce Harrison and Marilyn Eley.
Barbara is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Miller; grandchildren, Tammy (Gary) Porter, Wendy Cruze, Chad (Brandy) Miller, Brady Miller and Trent (Karie) Miller; 18 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Martha Burns and Mary Pipenger.
Barbara was a 1942 graduate of New Madison High School. She retired from Hill Floral Products in Richmond, Indiana, with 23 years of service. Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games with family and friends and crafting. Barbara was musically gifted and could play numerous music instruments.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Mike Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
