On the sunny Saturday of June 22nd, Darke County Parks once again hosted the second annual event, “Bash at Bish,” drawing in crowds of eager attendees for a day of outdoor festivities and family fun. Located at the Bish Discovery Center and Alice Bish Park, this free event has become a staple in the community calendar, offering a wide array of activities for all ages to enjoy.
The event boasted a diverse lineup of attractions, ensuring there was something to captivate every interest. Adventurous souls had the chance to test their skills in activities like tree climbing, paddling, archery, and even ax throwing. Meanwhile, those seeking a more relaxed pace could partake in yard games or simply soak in the natural beauty of the park surroundings.
A highlight of the day was the spectacular BMX show by Dialed Action BMX, whose talented riders wowed the audience with adrenaline-pumping stunts. From breathtaking backflips to gravity-defying spins, the BMX performances added an electrifying energy to the event, leaving spectators in awe of the riders’ skills.
Music filled the park throughout the day, courtesy of live performances by Authorized Personnel, Camarillo Band, and Noah Black. Their eclectic tunes provided the perfect soundtrack to accompany the day’s activities, creating a festive atmosphere that kept spirits high.
