Betty J. McMiller age 93, of Greenville passed away at 5:05 am Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Village Green Healthcare Center in Greenville.
Betty was born January 15, 1928, in Dayton to the late Byron & Kathryn (Robeson) Dull. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her sons, Tom McMiller and Richard W. McMiller; and a sister, Arlene Frazel.
Betty is survived by her husband of 72 years, Richard D. McMiller whom she married July 6, 1949; children, Bob & Kathy McMiller of Greenville and Scott & Julie McMiller of Troy; daughters-in-law, Darla McMiller of Celina and Debbie Kettering of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Sarah (Tom) Porto, Meredith (Eric) Parris, Jason (Molly) McMiller, Josh (fiancée, Lupe Hinojosa) McMiller, Shelby McMiller, Stephanie (Ross) Evans, Melissa (Greg) Garfield and Carmen McMiller; great-grandchildren, Luca Porto, Kathryn Porto, Julian Porto, McKenzie McMiller, Hunter McMiller, Wyatt Garfield, Lucy Garfield, Ellie Garfield, Jesse Walker and Joey Walker; half-brother, Bill Dull of Dayton; half-sister, Sondra Pocsi of Sidney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was retired from Dr. Elliot’s office where she was a registered nurse and formerly worked at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville. She was a member of Stelvideo Christian Church, ladies aid at the church and the Gettysburg Lions Club. Betty formerly volunteered at Hospice in Greenville. Betty made everyone feel special, never forgetting a birthday or anniversary. She loved sending cards and loved animals. Betty was a great hostess, her faith, husband and family was most important to her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Stelvideo Christian Church 6808 Church St. Stelvideo with Pastor Tracy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Stelvideo Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Stevideo Christian Church or the Gettysburg Community Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
