Betty Louise Zeller

February 17, 1947 – December 29, 2024

Betty Louise Zeller age 77, of Greenville passed away at 7:43 am Sunday, December 29, 2024, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.

Betty was born February 17, 1947, in Darke County to the late Isaac J. & Kathryn K. (Schmidt) Norris. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Zeller on November 13, 1998, whom she married May 8, 1965; son, Dennis D. Zeller on January 11, 2022; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Paul & Opal Zeller; brothers & sister-in-law, Clarence & Connie Norris and Richard Norris; sister & brother-in-law, Lavonne & Harold Sharp; brother-in-law, Jim Holsapple; and sister-in-law, Robin Zeller.

Betty is survived by her children, Denver D. Zeller, and Donna & Jason Fox. Betty and her late husband Donald raised nieces, Rebecca Stump and Nicole Chaney, and nephew Marshal Zeller. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Denver “Kyle” Zeller, Dakota Zeller, Kathryn Zeller, Jarod & Bethany Fox, Derek & Olivia Fox and Ida Zeller; great grandchildren, Nevaeh heath and Tristan Boseke; sisters, Carol Holsapple and Wanda & Leroy Billenstein; sister-in-law, Pat Norris; brother-in-law, Eddy Zeller; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of East Zion Church in Greenville where she served as financial secretary for 18 years, treasure of the Women’s Guild and taught Sunday School for the 4th & 5th graders. She was a former member of the Lewisburg Promenaders. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, reading and square dancing.

A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Keith Peterson and Pastor Brandon Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
