The Darke County Animal Shelter has 2 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Meet Bingo we don’t know if Bingo was actually a farmer’s dog or not because Bingo came to us as a stray, so our knowledge about him is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Bingo is a 2 -year-old intact male Great Pyrenees Mix. Bingo is a very sweet boy who loves to get belly rubs. Bingo has shown us he knows how to sit, shake, loves to play and enjoys treats. Bingo is a very sweet boy who is looking for his forever home or farm. Bingo did great for his nail trim, bath and exam where he weighs in at 94.1 lbs.Jessie came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is only from what we have observed. We believe Jessie is a 2-year-old, female Lab Mix. Jessie is an incredibly kind soul with a heart full of love. Jessie has a calm, sweet temperament and is full of love but can be a little shy at first, but she is quick to warm up. Jessie has shown us she knows how to sit, shake, loves to play rug-a-way and enjoys treats. Jessie is learning to walks on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Jessie did great for her nail trim, bath and exam where she weighed in at 44 lbs.
