The Varsity Girls Bowling team entered the 3rd annual Warrior Bowl Out at Marion Lanes in Huber Heights, facing 10 other teams, including several powerhouse Division I teams.
Getting experience on the lanes where the sectional tournament will be held, several of the freshmen bowlers got a chance to participate. After the regular game rounds the Blackhawks were seeded 8th going into the 8-baker game round.
They had a chance to move up in the standings but just couldn’t get the pins to fall and were plagued with several splits, while the other teams kept adding to their lead.
MV did hold on to their 8th place, keeping ahead of Sidney, Springfield Shawnee and Newton by a 124+ pin margin.
