The Greenville City School District Board of Education has contracted with the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) to assist us with our search for a new superintendent. In our effort to make the best possible selection, we will begin our search process with a Focus Group Day to gather your input. Our consultant, Teri Morgan, will meet with school and community members in a series of focus groups on Thursday, April 3, in the Anna Bier Room in Memorial Hall, 215 West Fourth St., Greenville.
The focus groups are intended to help us develop a profile for our next school leader, informed by the common themes that emerge. This will be helpful during the candidate screening and interview phase as we search for the perfect fit for Greenville Schools.
The conversations will take place during several sessions on April 3rd– each designated for a targeted audience – and will focus on three areas:
- Major issues facing the district for the next three to five years;
- Performance expectations for the next superintendent; and
- Personal and professional qualities to be sought in the next superintendent.
You are a valued participant and stakeholder in our school district and community. Your participation in a focus group is important to us. Please consider attending the focus group listed below that best represents your involvement:
