COLUMBUS, Ohio— Today, the Ohio Republican Party’s State Central Committee voted unanimously to formally oppose the ACLU’s abortion ballot initiative.
“It has never been more pressing for our leaders to take a clear stand as the abortion lobby attempts to force late-term abortions onto Ohioans,” stated Elizabeth Marbach, Director of Communications for Ohio Right to Life. “If passed, this radical ballot initiative put forth by the ACLU would enable abusers and remove all protections for the pre-born.”
Continuing, “The resolution passed today by the Ohio Republican State Central Committee continues in the long tradition and legacy of Ohio’s leaders defending the freedoms and liberty of their citizens.”
